The hammock chair will need a stand when there is no overhead support.  The chair stand is usually made white or black steel.  The base is simply two metal rods.  The hammock is supported by a larger bent metal rod.  Then, the hammock is attached to the end of the large metal bent rod.  Other side rods hold the hammock stand square and secure for your enjoyment.
